Hand-sewn with durable braided wax polyester thread and finished with hand-painted edges, this card holder is built to last. A natural brass magnetic snap keeps your cards secure. The case’s interior features the authentic Rocado Shell Cordovan stamp, a mark of its high-end quality and reputable tannery. The back of the case is finished with the subtle Chosen Leatherwork hand-stamped logo.

Tannery:  Rocado Shell Cordovan leather comes from Toscana, Italy. Rocado has been in business since 1982. Their products include traditional tanning techniques while carefully updated with modern technology. Their leather is still worked by hand, as it has been for many generations.

Leather: Museum Shell Cordovan is a vegetable tan leather with dense, tight fibers. The top grain is smooth with glaze, and the flesh side (backside) is smooth and soft.  The leather is hand dyed with a tea-colored core. The shell cordovan world-famous leather is made of a specific layer of hide – cordovan. The cordovan layer exists only in equine hides and has its maximum thickness on the rump area. Using the centuries-old method of pure vegetable tannage and hand finishing, the tanning process takes a full six months to complete.

The Saphir Medaille d’Or Cordovan Cream is specifically formulated for cordovan leather. It is made with all-natural ingredients, including beeswax and neatsfoot oil, and is free from turpentine, which helps maintain the leather's density and natural sheen. Saphir Renovateur Cream is a higher quality leather goods conditioner containing beeswax, lanolin and mink oil.  It gently cleans while adding nourishment and protection to the leather. Renovateur Cream is highly regarded by leather care specialists.  A recommended product for the future care of your leather product over time.
