The Chosen Leatherwork Premium Leather Valet Catchall Tray is handcrafted using a beautiful premium leather from an Italian tannery. The fine leather valet tray features a fine quality exterior and interior vegetable tanned leather. Both sides are beautiful to the touch and a medium temper. The interior and exterior leather, Missouri Hickory, features a wonderful, milled/pebbled grain. The tray features high quality solid brass Japanese “Shackles” joining each side. The Japanese shackles are cast from beautiful solid brass giving them a premium heavier weight to them. The pin is precisely machined with nice tight tolerance making for a tight fit. The tray is sized at 8.125″ square point-to-point (each end) with a usable interior space of approximately 6″ square. The tray height is .625″.

Leather Tannery
The tannery, Conceria La Perla Azzurra is in Santa Croce sull’Arno (Area of Tuscany) and was established in 1967.
Missouri Hickory – The grain is treated with a healthy amount of wax and has a good grip when holding it. It has a medium-bright sheen. The combination of the hot stuffing blend and the wax gives the leather a heavier, substantial feel (firmer temper) and a great pull-up (when folded). The leather is milled (“tumbled”) while it’s still thick, which results in a very pronounced and natural looking pebbled grain.
